Founder & CEO

Zuraida Dada is a registered psychologist with over 22 years of experience supporting women through complex life transitions and psychological recovery. Her clinical work focuses on helping women reclaim their identity and rebuild their lives after emotionally or psychologically abusive relationships.

Many women leave abusive relationships only to discover that the psychological impact lingers long after the relationship has ended. Survivors may struggle with diminished self-trust, loss of confidence, difficulty reconnecting with their sense of purpose, or uncertainty about who they are beyond the experience of abuse.

Zuraida’s work focuses on this important stage of recovery.

Drawing on trauma-informed therapy approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as insights from positive psychology and identity development research, she helps women move beyond survival toward renewed agency, confidence, and personal empowerment.

Zuraida is the developer of the Identity Reclamation Framework, a model that describes the psychological journey from surviving abuse to reclaiming one’s identity and thriving in life and work. Her approach integrates trauma recovery with personal growth, helping women rebuild self-trust, develop healthy boundaries, and create lives aligned with their values and aspirations.

Her work reflects a deep belief that recovery from abuse is not only about healing from the past, but also about rediscovering one’s voice, purpose, and capacity to thrive.

Her practice is particularly suited for women who have already taken the courageous step of leaving an abusive relationship and are now ready to rebuild their identity, confidence, and sense of direction.

Benazir Sindhi

Registered Provisional Psychologist (P6097). B.A., MC.

Hello! My name is Benazir and I work with children (ages 5+), adolescents, young adults, parents, and schools. I specialize in helping young people affected by trauma, grief and loss, separation/ divorce, complex behavioural concerns, emotional dysregulation, racism and discrimination, ADHD, depression, and anxiety.

In counselling, I practice from a systemic and trauma-informed lens which means that I do not only focus on what a person’s behaviour is, but on the why. This means I try and understand what are the reasons for the behaviour, what relief does the behaviour provide currently, and what is happening or has happened in the child’s world? Depending on the individual needs of the client, I utilize play and art interventions along with narrative approaches. I am trained and experienced in suicide intervention and prevention, and non-suicidal self-injury. In addition to my training as a therapist, I have close to eleven years of mental health experience. I specialize in complex behaviours, Trauma Informed Care, anti-racism training and programming, mental health promotion workshops, and parent workshops. I offer behaviour consultations and various mental health workshops to schools as well.

My lived experience has allowed me to connect with my clients in some of the most beautiful and unique ways. Whether or not this is the first time you are seeking a therapist, I commend you on the courage and patience that it takes. I invite you to a free consultation so we can meet, you can ask me any questions you may have, and see if this feels like a fit for you.
